How production moves

Know what happens before show day.

A useful proposal should come from a real brief—not a random equipment list. The process below keeps scope, timing and responsibility visible.

  1. 01

    Brief & venue

Date, location, guest count, event format, program, access and the experience you want to create.

  2. 02

    Scope & proposal

Technical production, scenic needs, crew, schedule and dependencies are shaped into a clear production scope.

  3. 03

    Pre-production

Venue details, load-in, power, drawings, vendor coordination, cues and run of show are confirmed.

  4. 04

    Install & operate

The production team loads in, tests, rehearses, operates the event and manages strike against the agreed plan.

Questions before the proposal

Useful details make the first scope better.

You do not need every answer before reaching out. Date, venue/city, guest count and event format are enough to start.

How early should production be booked?

Earlier is better for larger programs, venue coordination and complex scenic needs. If the date is close, send the brief anyway so availability and realistic scope can be checked quickly.

Can you work with a venue's in-house team?

Yes. The production scope should identify venue requirements, in-house responsibilities, power, access, rigging restrictions and any outside-vendor rules before final confirmation.

Do you handle only equipment rental?

The site is structured around production rather than a drop-off equipment list. The proposal can separate equipment, crew, operation, scenic and coordination based on the event.

What should I send first?

Send the event date, venue or city, estimated guest count, event type, rough schedule and the parts of the production you already know you need.
